Throughout life most people will experience important moments such as marking the arrival of a child in the family, a commitment into a relationship or the loss of someone known and loved. Important life events such as weddings, funerals and baptisms can be conducted at the Armadale Uniting Church.
Baptisms
Through baptism, you become a member of the Christian church. The Uniting Church baptises both adults who profess the Christian faith, and children whose parents have decided that they want their child to grow up within the Christian community.
Both the parents and the church commit themselves to help the child grow in faith in Jesus Christ. Baptism is usually symbolised by the pouring of water.
Baptism is offered during a Sunday morning service or a Messy Church celebration.

Weddings
Our ministers are licensed religious celebrants and will lead wedding services either in the church or in another location, such as a park or home.

Funerals
If you have recently lost a loved one, we are deeply sorry for your loss. We offer you our love and support in this time of sorrow and hope to be of some assistance and comfort.
